Animal Movement Requirements Web Portal powered by GVL SmartEngineTM has ten states live in its first week online

Ames, Iowa (March 24, 2015) –GlobalVetLINK released their latest tool for veterinarians and animal owners this week. GVL’s Animal Movement Requirements Look-up web portal powered by the patent-pending GVL SmartEngine™ technology, was released on March 16th, and already has interstate movement requirements available for ten states. The goal of the web portal is to provide a one-stop-shop for veterinarians and animal owners seeking interstate movement requirements for their pets and livestock. The Animal Movement Requirements Look-up webpage is free of charge to the public. The initial release of this website focuses on movement requirements for cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, deer, dogs and cats for a limited number of states, with more states being added daily. GVL is working closely with state animal health officials to ensure the most accurate information possible is available. Currently, there are interstate movement requirements available for Arkansas, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, New York, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah and Virginia with several others expected to be available within days.
