We’ve been hinting at our big news for a few months, and we’re thrilled to finally share what’s new from GVL in 2019. As you’ve probably noticed, we have a new logo, website and brand identity (but there’s much more to come).

This week we’ll be discussing at length what is new about GVL and what’s coming this year. In today’s blog, we’re discussing the new logo and branding elements and how we got here.

New GVL Branding
GVL has a history of being a reliable, trustworthy software solutions provider to veterinarians and the animal health industry. Over the years, GVL has evolved in its purpose to connect animal health stakeholders, while still providing peace of mind for regulatory compliance and data security with easy to use technology. There’s no doubt that our software solutions and features will continue to expand so that veterinarians, their staff and their customers will be able to do more from anywhere. Our branding elements now better reflect who GVL is today.

Logo Design
The design for the GVL logo was initially inspired by a shield when describing the security, protection and safety that GVL provides for data, information, animal health and documentation. An impression of a ‘check mark’ at the bottom of the icon nicely symbolizes the compliance, accuracy and completeness of certificates, regulations and requirements within GVL. The slanted lines give a sense of movement upward and out, visually representing technology, internet accessibility, transfer of data and information, while also implying forward thinking, innovation and growth — all important to GVL as a tech company and software provider.

As you can tell, we put a lot of thought into our new branding elements, and we hope you’ve gained some insight into that process.
