GVL Releases AnimalRegs.com

by Rebecca Haugland | March 13, 2015

Ames, Iowa (March 13, 2015) – Over the past few months, GlobalVetLINK has been working hard to develop and refine the patent pending GVL SmartEngine™ technology, and on March 16, that technology will be put to use as it powers GVL’s Animal Movement Requirements Look-up web portal. The web portal will provide a one-stop-shop for veterinarians and animal  owners seeking interstate movement requirements for their pets and livestock. The Animal Movement Requirements Look-up webpage will be offered free of charge to the public. The initial release of this website will focus on movement requirements for cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, deer, dogs and cats for a limited number of states, with the intent on expansion in the near future. GVL is working closely with state animal health officials to ensure the most accurate information possible is available.
Visit www.animalregs.com to see if states in your area have activated requirements on GVL’s Animal Movement Requirements Web Portal.
The web portal is an exciting first step in achieving a bigger company vision that’s been in the works since its inception in 2001. GlobalVetLINK’s core business includes electronic Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (eCVIs) for interstate animal movement. All of the requirements used in the web portal will be incorporated into the eCVIs created within the GlobalVetLINK System in order to make compliance easier than ever before. This single solution approach will increase the efficiency of animal movement and disease containment for all stakeholders, including veterinarians, animal owners and state animal health officials, simplifying compliance to the ADT rule.  Watch for more information in the coming months on the release of HealthLINK powered by SmartEngine™. As the leading provider of digital solutions for animal health, GlobalVetLINK strongly believes in the value GVL SmartEngine will offer the animal health industry. Offering “smarter”, more efficient products and services helps our veterinary customers save time and money on paperwork, so they can focus more of their attention on their animal clients.
